Great store. Wonderful selection of hardware. The only thing is if you're a woman in there, people working there seems to think you definitely need help in the most helpful manner. Which is fine if you do need help but if you wanna look at tools or if you know where to find things, it can get a little annoying when everyone passing by asking you if you need help.read more
They're really friendly and knowledgeable. Once they saw that I had my dog tied outside and told me to bring him in. In the winter they have free coffee. They have most toolstore things in stock. The staff is available quickly and they are helpful. It's a great neighbourhood toolstore.read more
They have a lot of hard to find parts that Home Depot does not have. The service is always excellent as well. The only down side is that the parking lot is a bit small for such a good storeread more
In spite of its size, there has not been once I haven't found what I'm looking for at this store. But what really stands out from this store is the customer service!!! Not one store in Montreal than can beat the staff at this location. I'm so fortunate to have these guys just a few blocks away from home.read more
Very knowledgeable for tools and hardware. Great place to purchase hardware in bulk or in small quantities. Excellent service you will not find elsewhere.
Great place for all your little hardware needs in the Griff. I think all the signs are en Français, so as a dirty Anglo, I have to ask where obscure items are. The staff are super helpful and know their stuff, or know someone who does. They don't have a large selection of lumber, you have to cross the canal of isolation for that.read more
On a Monday morning, 8am, the staff was ready to answer all my questions, they were very helpful and professionnal!! I would travel the distance to get a service like this one again. Thank you.read more
This place has monster inventory of tools and accessories, includibg virtually every tool by DeWalt. Staff is helpful and abundant. Glad to have this place near home.
Very good hardware store, pretty compact though. 3 floors, all the nuts and bolts you could even imagine, you would find there. Instruments, paint, packing stuff, electric wires, etc. Saw even an office chair wheels replacement - big variety. The rows are pretty dense though, sometimes you need to squeeze beetween them. No chance for 2 even skinny people to pass along. Also the floor sales people were a bit too fast in approaching clients, running from the far part of the row to ask if I "need anything". In such a relatively small shop, I've been approached by at least 10 sales personnel. Which probably could be a great thing if you know what you're looking for.Overall, a good shop.read more
Unquestionably the best and most courteous all-round hardware store in Montreal. By the way, the best country hardware store I have found is Machabee's in St-Antoine-Abbé.read more
This place has the best customer service that I have experienced in any retail outlet. People greet you and direct you to what you are looking for. You never have to look for someone to ask a question, they are always around. Looks like a small place but it is stacked to the rafters. Excellent prices, on three floors.read more
